We use this information to operate accounts, process transcription jobs, maintain credit and payment records, prevent abuse, provide support, and improve reliability.

Media and transcript retention

Uploaded source media is scheduled for automatic deletion within 24 hours after processing unless a longer period is clearly shown before upload. Generated transcript text remains in your account until you delete it or close your account, subject to legal retention requirements.

Do not upload media you do not have the right to process. Avoid submitting highly sensitive material unless you have evaluated whether this service is appropriate for it.

Service providers

We may use infrastructure, storage, authentication, analytics, payment, and transcription providers to deliver the service. They receive only the information needed to perform their role. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored directly by VideoTranscriptGen.
